The Democratic Alliance in the North West said actions by heads of all North West government Departments was unethical and an abuse of power.

This follows all provincial government Departments this week attending an African National Congress Lekgotla gathering.

The Lekgotla is took place on Thursday and Friday this week.

DA Leader in the North West Chris Hattingh said that the lines between party and officials were totally blurred.

Hatting said that the Premier was abusing her position as she has done in the past, by acting unethically.

“We are going to lay a charge against this at the Public Protector for investigation, we believe it is a transgression of the Executive’s Ethics Act” Hatting added
