20 accidents in the City since Wednesday

The City of Cape Town traffic services has today confirmed that there were 20 accidents in Cape Town since Wednesday. 

Wet conditions on the road have been blamed for the accidents which left one person dead.  

City of Cape Town traffic services Spokesperson Merle Lourens none of the collisions were serious and few injuries were serious, with a taxi overturning on the on the Hospital bend colliding with a lamp pole, as did a bakkie.

“We had one fatality; a six year old girl who died on the Vanguard Drive last night” Lourens added.
