MEC Winde attends Durban Tourism Indaba

Western Cape MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde is in Durban to lead the Western Cape Delegation at one of Africa’s biggest travel exhibitions, the annual Tourism Indaba.

Winde said cultural tourism was growing globally.

Spokesperson for the MEC Bronwynne Jooste the MEC’s stay in Durban will include exploring the Western Cape’s cultural tourism links.

“There is a focus on culture and heritage, and there is a position Winde can feels can make a mark with icons like Robben island and Robben Island” Jooste added.
