The Western Cape Police are investigating a double murder, whereby an elderly couple was murdered at their home in Wellington
Police Spokesperson Tembinkosi Kinana said the son of the couple called the police asking for them to check his parent’s house as he was concerned.
A case of murder has is being investigated.
Kinana also the police found the back door of the house opened and the elderly couple was found in the bedroom with their hands tied behind and their faces were covered with plastic bags.
He added that no one has been arrested as yet and the investigation continues.
