Late on Thursday a 15-year-old boy
died after he slipped and fell under a train in Woodstock
It is alleged that the boy climbed the train
while it was moving and he slipped and died immediately.
Western Cape Regional Manager of
Metrorail Mthuthuzeli Swartz said this was an unnecessary death of a young
man.
Swartz said we are calling upon all our commuters to
observe the safety rule that you do not get on the train while it is in motion and
you do not get off while the train is leaving the station.
