Accident in Vanderbijlpark leaves four people in a critical condition

A car accident in Vanderbijlpark has left a 40-year-old man and a 5-year-old child critically injured.

ER24 paramedics said it is believed that a man and his daughter were crossing the road when a vehicle crashed into them as well as a woman and her daughter who at the same time were also crossing the road and were hit by the car.

ER24 Spokesperson Christo Venter said the man sustained serious injuries and was placed on life support.
 
Venter added another woman and a 5-year-old girl were among the people crossing the road. The little girl sustained serious injuries as well, resulting in being put on life support.
