Four suspects were arrested in Woodstock yesterday for possession of drugs worth an estimated R10 000.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Hilton Malila says police conducting foot patrols noticed drug trafficking activities at a Lower Church street home.
“We reacted swiftly, and during the searching of the premises we confiscated 25 packets of tik-tik, 10 units cocaine (rocks) and 60 pieces of heroine,” said Malila.
Malila says they also confiscated a substantial amount of cash that was on the premises.
The suspects, who are currently in police custody are facing charges of possession of drugs and will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court tomorrow.
