A hostage drama has unfolded at an ABSA bank in the city after two staff members were taken hostage.
According to reports, ABSA spokesperson Gavin Mageni, says two men entered the bank and took the staff members hostage.
No firearms were made visible.
The hostage takers fled the scene just before police arrived.
It is not known whether or not the two made off with any money.
Staff members are receiving counselling.
