Former police commissioner Jackie Selebi’s corruption trial in Johannesburg has again been postponed for a month.

The Ministry for State Security is applying to the Constitutional Court for leave to appeal against the Appeal Court’s dismissal of its petition to stop the testimony of former intelligence co-ordinator Barry Gilder.

Gilder was subpoenaed to testify about a top-secret document convicted drug lord Glenn Agliotti says Selebi had shown him.

Presiding officer, Judge Meyer Joffe, is qouted as saying he is not happy with the further delays.
