Mitchell’s Plain police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was found in Tafelsig early this morning.
Warrant Officer Ian Williams says the body was found lying in a driveway in Gail Crescent, with several gunshot wounds to the face and head.
“The deceased is described as male about 27 years old, he was dressed in black and white Quicksilver tracksuit top, dark blue jeans, black and white Nike trainers, and several silver chains around his neck including a G-unit chain,” Williams said.
He further added that the deceased had a black belt with dollar sign buckle and gold Kruger rand earrings on.
It is alleged that a black Opel station wagon was seen in the vicinity at the time of the shootout.
