Golden Arrow has agreed to assist stranded commuters by providing additional services during the planned Metrorail strike.
In a statement, the bus operator says it assist “potential passengers as far as possible”.
It noted that passengers should take into account that capacity is limited during peak hours; and encouraged passengers to travel during off peak times if they are able to.
Buses will only operate on existing bus routes, and from the usual terminuses and bus stops.
Metrorail tickets will not be accepted on Golden Arrow buses.
According to the statement “all passengers who are not in possession of a valid Golden Arrow clipcard will have to pay normal bus fares”.
Golden Arrow has also advised passengers to purchase clipcards over the weekend to beat the Monday morning rush.
Commuters can access more information on times and timetables from the bus service’s toll free number on 0800 65 64 63.
