Johannesburg police are searching more premises after two-and-a-half-tons of commercial explosives were found at a house in South Hills on Friday.
The explosives, found piled high in a bathroom of a suburban house, were stolen from a depot in City Deep recently.
Police made the breakthrough against ATM bombings following an anonymous tip-off to the Crime Line SMS service.
Two Zimbabwean nationals, a man aged 22 and an 18-year-old woman were arrested.
A third suspect is still at large.
