A man suspected of brutally murdering a 21 year old student in Woodstock later last week was arrested yesterday.
The 19 year old suspect was arrested in a house in Cornwall Street in the area following a tip off from the public.
The UNISA student was killed during a house robbery at his home in Plein Street on Thursday night.
Spokesperson Sergeant Hilton Malila says they are still investigating the motive for the murder.
The suspect is due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday facing murder and housebreaking charges.
