It has been more than a week since two separate tornados struck in the Free State and Gauteng.
High level meetings are currently underway in the Ekurhuleni Municipality to discuss how best to reconstruct the affected areas.
Municipality spokesperson, Justice Mohale says temporary structures have been erected in the Duduza Township near Nigel, which was hardest hit.
He says however that it is too soon to say when rebuilding efforts will actually start.
