The ANC Youth League has retaliated following the suspension of its leadership.
The League held a news conference at Luthuli House in Johannesburg today.
League president Julius Malema addressed issues of impartiality and political agendas which he says influenced the party's National Disciplinary Committee's sentence.
In another development, a minority rights advocacy group will decide today whether to drop charges against Malema for using a derogatory term to describe Indians.
Members of the South African Minority Rights Equality Movement met with Malema in Pietermaritzburg after they had lodged a crimen injuria case following his recent remarks.
The convenor of the Movement, Ashin Singh, says they found the controversial politician to be polite, courteous, dignified - unlike the image he usually portrays.
