The Democratic Nursing Organisation
of South Africa in the Eastern Cape held a
provincial executive committee meeting recently.
Some of the issues discussed include
the Eastern Cape health
crisis coalition, the recruitment and retention of members and gender
issues.
Denosa provincial secretary Koliswa
Tota said they have been engaging with the department of Health in all the
issues.
“On the 13th we will be
marching with the NGO’s towards the challenges that we are facing among the
challenges are the shortage of nurses in all the hospitals, the non-payment of
our benefit as nurses,” Tota added.
