Pupils from the Umyezo Wama Apile Combined School in Grabouw are starting to settle in after moving into temporary classrooms last week.

Classes were disrupted earlier this year when community members initiated a protest.

Grade 11 and 12 learners were then relocated to Kuilsriver while government officials rebuild the demolished classrooms.

Spokesperson for the Provincial Minister of Education, Bronagh Casey said that they will be carefully monitoring the progress made by learners at this school.
