SAMWU: Local government will collapse

The South African Municipal Workers Union have today stated that local government is about to collapse. 

This follows the auditor general’s report released yesterday.

SAMWU’s Tahir Sema said most municipalities that have received negative audits over the past two years.

He added that they have experienced violent service delivery protests.
