41 people injured in an accident

 An accident that occurred this morning in Roodepoort, Johannesburg has left 41 people injured.

It was reported that two minibuses, a light motor vehicle and a delivery truck were involved in the accident. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said nine people were seriously injured and the other sixteen had minor injuries.

Steinman said a total of 25 people were treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further care.

She added that the cause of the accident is not known at this stage and police are investigating.
