NW Premier Modise warned women and girls to avoid wolves in sheepskins

North West Premier Thandi Modise called on women and girl children to be aware of wolves in sheepskins.

This follows the arrest of a 29 year-old pastor for the rape of a 17 year-old girl in Phokeng near Rustenburg on Tuesday.

Premier’s Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said the Premier expressed shock at the scourge of rape and sexual victimisaton.

“Those associated with an institution that Modise considers sacred, those that are supposed to offer spiritual counselling to victims of sexual offences are somehow implicated” Kgwele said.
