The Democratic Alliance said it is waiting to be granted access to President Jacob Zuma spy tapes.

The tapes are recordings of conversations between the National Prosecuting Authority officials about the corruption charges against Zuma.

The Democratic Alliance will be heading to court on the 24th of July for arguments to have access to the spy tapes.

DA MP of Correctional Services James Selfe included in the record of decision must be the spy tapes as they were central to the decision.

“We believe that we have a very clear order of court from the supreme court of appeal, we cannot understand why the NPA is not adhering to that order of court,” Selfe added.
