The Treatment Action Campaign together with the Social Justice Coalition has added their voices in support of Equal Education campaign for proper norms and standards for public schools infrastructure.

TAC and SJC said quality education is crucial in dealing with a multitude of other socio-economic problems that directly impact uneducated or poorly educated South Africans.

SJC’s General Secretary Phumeza Mlungwana said it moves focus from what is needed because there are no standards and norms.

“Schools don’t have proper infrastructure, they don’t have proper sanitation” Mlungwana added.
