Cosatu shocked at the death of two firefighters in Johannesburg CBD

The Congress of South African Trade Union has expressed it shock at the fire incident at a building in the Johannesburg CBD which happened over the weekend and left two fire-fighters dead.
 
Cosatu Acting National Spokesperson Norman Mampane said fire-fighters are a critical human resource in the country to ensure that property and human life is safe.
 
Mampane said this incident needs to be investigating and we send our condolences to the families of the two deceased fire-fighters
 
Meanwhile the South African Municipal Workers Union claimed that a lack of equipment and negligence led to the deaths.
