The South African Democratic Teachers Union strongly condemns the South African public service union’s insurgent view on the public service wage negotiation deal signed by COSATU Public Service Unions last week.

It was said that Sapsu’s Thobile Ntola’s rant and rave does not come as a surprise.

SADTU spokeswoman Nomusa Cembi said SADTU and COSATU Public Service Unions never sold out on wage negotiations.

Cembi said the process took 8 months and on top of that we embarked on marches to show our commitment to a better deal for our members.

“Ntola should stop paddling lies about us, in order to build his union.” Cembi added.

Cembi added that he should go back to school and teach learners instead of going about collecting his cheque, while his busy building his union.
