A 23 year old woman has been killed and three other people seriously injured when the car they were driving in overturned in the Leondale area, reports Ekhuruleni police.
Inspector Kobeli Mokheseng said a maroon Honda Ballade with five people went out of control and overturned at around 4AM. The driver of the car was a 22 year old man and was driving under the influence of alcohol, while the woman and the other three people were passengers in the car.
Mokheseng said the car, which was going from Wattville to Katlehong at the time of the accident, was travelling at high speed and skipped red traffic lights before it overturned. He was arrested for reckless driving.
