In yet another drug bust in the City this week, Mitchells Plain police arrested eight suspects for drug offences during search operations in the area on Tuesday.
Four of the eight were arrested in Tafelsig with 33 parcels of dagga and 34 fills of dagga.
In Eastridge, a 48 year old man was arrested for possession of 49 packets of tik and four mandrax tablets.
“On the same day they arrested three males after confiscating an illegal Firearm and ammunition,” said Captain Rewayne Muller.
All the suspects have been detained at the Mitchells Plain police station and will make a court appearance in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ court soon.
