Eleven people were seriously injured, but are now in stable conditions in hospital after being involved in an accident on William Nicol in Fourways, north of Johannesburg .
It is believed the incident occurred after a taxi collided with another car this morning.
ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak says most of the passengers sustained lower-leg injuries.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
