Four men aged between 38 and 40 have been arrested in Mitchell’s Plain for being in possession of drugs.
Police spokesperson Captain Rewayne Muller says police executed several search operations with huge successes witch included illegal firearm and ammunition.
“The drugs that were confiscated in Freedom Park were 33 parcels of dagga and 34 of dagga. In Macbeth Street, police arrested a 48 year old man for being in possession of 49 packets of tik and 4 mandrax tablets.
“On the same day they arrested three males after confiscating an illegal Firearm and ammunition”, said police spokesperson Captain Rewayne Muller
Muller added that all of the suspects have been detained at the Mitchell’s Plain police station and are expected to appear in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court very soon added.
