97 000 pupils will begin supplementary matric exams tomorrow.
About 8 000 of them are registered in Mpumalanga.
The exam process was taken over by the national Basic Education Department following last year’s leaked exam paper scandal.
In Gauteng extra classes in Maths, Science and Accounting have been arranged in 36 centres.
According to reports, Gauteng Basic Education MEC Barbara Creecy, says only a third of those learners who have registered to re-write maths and science are going to the centres.
She has urged the rest to also go to the centres
