Pretoria motorcyclist fights for life

A motorcyclist was critically injured after his bike collided with a roadside Armco barrier on the N1 near

Rigel Avenue

in Waterkloof, Pretoria in the early hours of Friday morning.

Common cause information suggests that the rider lost control of his motorcycle and was flung into the grassed centre reservation.

Netcare 911’s Jeff Wicks said paramedics arrived at the scene to find the man in a critical condition, having sustained multi-system traumatic injuries.

He was rapidly treated and stabalised at the scene before he was transported to the Kalefong State Hosipital.
