Two people were wounded after a shooting incident in Steenberg on Saturday.
Police arrested a 21 year-old man who was found in possession of an illegal fire arm.
The Police’s Warrant Officer November Filander said that the two people were wounded when shots were fired between two gangs in
Parken Court
.
November said the suspect was found in possession of a 9mm pistol with its serial number filed off.
He added that the suspect will appear in the
Wynberg Magistrate Court
on Monday.
