A woman rescued at Miller`s Point

A woman was rescued at Miller`s Point near Simon`s Town in the early hours of this morning.

Paramedics took about two hours to rescue the woman who had fallen 30 meters down a steep embankment after an accident on the Main Road.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said after the woman was rescued told them that she was traveling in the car with another man.

The paramedics said that the vehicle was not found on the scène, and there were only few pieces of vehicle strewn around the scene.

Jackson said that the woman sustained minor injuries; she was treated at the scene and transported to Victoria hospital.
