Cape Town police arrested men for dealing in counterfeit cash

Two Cameroonian nationals were arrested last night for being in possession of counterfeit money.

The two 37 year old men were arrested in Khayamandi, Stellenbosch with hundred rand notes totalling five-thousand-rand.

Cape Town police say the men will remain in custody until they appear in court on Monday.

In another incident two men were arrested on Thursday.

Cape Town police said that their investigations led them to a Hotel in Milnerton.

Police`s Andre Traut said the men were arrested on charges of fraud, they are suspected of having targeted victims abroad.

Traut added that they confiscated laptops,cell phones and fraudulent bank letterheads.

They are also expected to appear in court on Monday.
