Less than three months before final exams another strike has broken out at the Walter Sisulu University in the Eastern Cape.
University spokesperson Angela Church says Members of the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union are demanding a twelve-percent salary increase for the year.
Church says an offer has been tabled to the Union and that they have agreed to take this offer to their members.
She adds that during the past few weeks there has been many incidents of intimidation and that it does effect learning at the University.
