A total of 381 rhinos killed in SA

The latest rhino poaching statistics from the Department of Environmental Affairs show that a total of 381 rhinos have been killed in South Africa since the beginning of this year.

Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal and the North West provinces continue to be the hardest hit by poachers, collectively accounting for the loss of 117 rhinos.

The Kruger National Park has now lost 236 rhinos.

The total number of arrests remains at 199.
