DA Western Cape leader Theuns Botha has reported his ANC counterpart Marius Fransman to the South African Human Rights Commission for calling artist Ayanda Mabulu a house slave.
Fransman made the comment in a newspaper column last week after controversy over Mabulu’s painting of President Jacob Zuma with his genitals exposed.
Botha says the DA asked Fransman for a simple apology for his careless racist statement but he refused.
Botha came out on behalf of his party supporters in the province to protect the artist
