Community health centre accused of threatening behaviour

Members of the Elsies River health committee has been barred from the area’s community health centre following an argument with senior management.

The committee has accused management of actions causing a breakdown of community relations and poor service.

Spokeswoman for the provincial health department Faiza Steyn said they have approached police to provide protection to the local facility staff.

They have also approached legal services to apply for a court interdict.
