Non-profit organisation,The Unlimited Child is rolling out an early childhood education programme to crèches in Khayelitsha as part of a pilot programme in the Western Cape.

They aim to reach 25-thousand crèches throughout the country over the next five years.

Organisation CEO Cassy Healey says there are over six-million children under the age of six in South Africa growing up without proper developmental stimulation.

She says this will lead to their potential being severely stunted.
