Joe Slovo residents protesting for houses

Joe Slovo residents will be protesting in Langa outside the newly built N2 Gateway houses this morning.

Abahlali kwaLanga Temporary Relocation Area have been fighting their own battles against corruption by committee members and the Housing Development Agency with regard to the allocation of RDP houses for residents.

The Abahlali kwaLanga Leader Tumi said that the government officials are getting paid a lot of money where as there poor people who simply need houses.

Tumi added that they will never stop protesting for as long as they are not given what they want.
