The Milk Producers Organisation of South Africa is warning the public of a possible milk shortage amid soaring production costs.

Organisation CEO Bertus de Jongh says all dairy products are becoming very expensive to produce.

He adds that at the moment the country doesn’t produce sufficient milk for local demand.
