12 people were treated this morning after suffering from breathing problems, following a diesel leak at a factory in Epping Industrial.

ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said it is believed that diesel spilled from a boiler and some workers were affected by the fumes.

Bodasing said when paramedics arrived they found the patients outside the factory experiencing breathing problems.

“They were all assessed and treated on the scene before they transported to various hospitals for further medical care” Bodasing added.
