A 27-year-old foreign national is currently appearing in the Mankweng Magistrates Court after he was arrested on Monday for human trafficking.

A 27-year-old foreign national is currently appearing in the Mankweng Magistrates Court after he was arrested on Monday for human trafficking.
Police received a tip-off
regarding illegal activity taking place in a spaza shop store room.
Upon arrival police found
nineteen foreign nationals locked inside the room in Mentz village in Limpopo .

Ledwaba said police in Mankweng outside Polokwane, arrested a 27 year old
foreign national following a discovery of about 19 foreign nationals who were
locked in a store room at a village outside Mankweng.
Ledwaba said this incident
happened yesterday. The 27 year old will face charges of human trafficking
while the 19 will face charges for being illegal foreigners.
