Cope urges Energy Minister to release a report on the R15-billion loss

The Congress of the People urges Minister Tina Joemat-Petterson to release to release the report on the R15-billion loss incurred by PetroSA.

Cope spokesperson Dennis Bloem says in a statement, a loss of such magnitude will not only destroy the livelihoods of hundreds of employees, but will become a further drain on hard-pressed South African taxpayers.

He says PetroSA, South African Airways and the South African Post Office have together been losing billions rands over the past few years.


Bloem says this is a loss that is very serious and that can destroy the livelihood of hundreds of employees. We don’t understand how that this loss have happened.
