The Hawks in Gauteng have arrested two suspects for manufacturing and selling guns at Wesdene in Sophiatown.

Following a tip from an informer, the Hawks members raided a house at 3rd Avenue in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

They found three different types of guns with matching ammunition, along with over 4 killograms of dagga.

Lieutenant Robert Netshiunda said they confiscated guns, riffles and hand guns.

The suspects will appear in court today.
