A 38 year old woman has been arrested in Elsies River for being in possession of drugs, stolen goods and undersized crayfish.
Metro Police Deputy Chief Yolanda Faro says they received tip-offs from residents in the area that illegal activities were underway at some of the houses. They then planned an operation during which a number of search warrants were executed.
“The suspect was arrested after Mandrax tablets, undersized crayfish and various goods believed to be stolen were found at her home.
1 x bread bag of crushed and whole Mandrax
100 x undersized crayfish
15 x cell phones
2 x digital cameras
1 x LCD television
12 x GHD hair irons
R10 000 in cash
“During the same operation, another two suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property. A CD player, DVD player, television and surround sound system were confiscated,” said Yolanda Faro.
