About 400 residents of the Dundonald community in Mpumalanga have embarked on protest action.
This follows a week-long violent protest in Siyathemba township in Balfour.
A community member has reportedly said residents want access to basic needs such as water, electricity, housing and roads.
Meanwhile, police say calm is being restored in the Siyathemba township.
