The island of Tonga has been rocked by a six point three magnitude earthquake.
The US Geological Survey has reportedly said there are no reports of damage.
The quake hit 96 kilometres south-southeast of the capital at a shallow depth of ten kilometres.
Nine people died in September last year when a tsunami, triggered by an eight magnitude earthquake, hit a northern Tongan island.
143 people were also killed in Samoa and another 34 in neighbouring American Samoa.
