With today marking the 20th anniversary of Nelson Mandela's release (see Bush Radio's celebration) from jail, Jacob Zuma will deliver his State of the Nation address to Parliament at 7pm tonight.
Many observers see it as one of the most crucial speeches for the man who has now served as president for less than one year.
Analysts have said that Zuma will have to address issues around the economy, health care, crime and education. Some have even gone so far as to say that he must address the situation of his leadership after revelations of his sexual conduct.
Bush Radio intern Kim Saulse collected the voices of people in Cape Town to find out what they expect from the president's speech:
CLIP 1 - The problem is this
CLIP 2 - There is too much crime
CLIP 3 - Give us peace of mind
CLIP 4 - They have given me jack
* The State of the Nation address will be broadcast live on 89.5 FM or online via Bush Radio
