Tension flared in Limpopo where the ANC commemorative lecture is being held.

President Jacob Zuma supporters clashed with supporters who don’t want Zuma to have a second term.

A fight ensued between the groups and police had to use teargas to disperse the crowd.

Police Minister Nathi Mthethwe said that the majority of the people in attendance of the lecture are in happy mood but there are those ill disciplined people who want to disturb.

Mthethwa said in a lecture of that nature there should not any discussion of ill-discipline as this is the centenary of the ruling party in honor of the former President Nelson Mandela.
