SACTWU happy with the negotiations

The South African Clothing and Textile Workers Union announced that they reached another wage settlement.

The workers in the carpets textiles sub-sector are being offered a seven percent wage increase for this year.

SACTWU’s national carpets sector co-ordinator Delight Simelane said they are very happy that they have settled at seven percent.

Simelane said that they are also happy about the fact that employers agreed to back pay the employees.
